Written during a period of uncertainty for me. Listen as I sit alone in the dark Listen for words not spoken. For the waves of misfortune And the demons of hell Have long been pounding in my heart Trying to wrestle control away. However tonight I declare Their attempts are in vain. For I will no longer sit and let them consume The fabric of my mind, of my thoughts. The one thing I have left. They will not make me hollow From this moment on, I fear not the sleep of death.
