The images and icons in the links section are used to indicate the status and options of a link. See below for a detailed overview:

General images:

- Link to HTML page.
- Click to view link details.
- Recommend to a friend.
- New addition

Ratings:

- Rated by Admin as Gold bookmark.
- Rated by Admin as Bronze bookmark.
- Rated highest by visitors..
- Recieved most hits from visitors.

Status icons:

- Website checked OK.
- Link works, but with warnings (usually a redirect).
- Website was down when checked.
 - Google pagerank.

Other icon meanings are pretty straightforward, like the and icons which allow you to sort the links by wether an image is present, title/name, rating, number of hits or the date the link was added.
And then there's of course the icon that shows the rating, based on how many votes the link recieved from our registered users.

Many of the above icons show additional information if you rest your mouse over it without clicking.
