Editor's description: I was first introduced to Dead turns alive (DTA for short) by searching for German Christian industrial music, noting that there is a lack of it accesable to the average American Joe such as myself. I happened to stumble upon a sampler CD totally by chance and talked to the brains behind the music, Micha, before i ever listened to the actual songs. Micha is a refreshingly nice and helpful person who also knows his music.
DTA is good EBM. The lyrics of the songs are well thought out, poetic and to the point. That's quite a feat to accomplish a mixture like that. The sound is multi-layered, with harsh beats with soft overlays. DTA reminds me of Funker Vogt or maybe a Project Pitchfork tribute band that took on its own life.
If given the right attention, DTA could easily become a favorite at the clubs. Micha doesn't hide his Love of God and his thankfulness to Him for saving him from this place. If you like genuinely good EBM with a genuinely good message, check out Dead Turns Alive, you won't be disapointed.
