Samples available at: the Edge Radio

Comparable to: Nine Inch Nails, Pink Floyd, the Young Gods

Editor's description: Gathering of Souls only released one cd. Neither Moth nor Rust Corrupt.
A.C. Boyd, the mind behind the sound has not been heard from for some time now. I even got a hold of Deliverance's Jimmy Brown who briefly worked with Boyd and even he didn't know where A.C. was or what he was up to.
Why did i go through all the trouble to try to make contact with a one album artist? Because its one of the best albums i've ever heard. I'm not saying that in the same way you might say "i love big macs more than my mother". I truly mean it. The album flows very well, dark vocals and throbbing beats mix with ambience and clash with guitars. Think of Pink Floyd's masterful albums like The Wall and Dark Side of the Moon, mixed with Nine Inch Nails' The Downward Spiral and you will start to understand what kind of music i'm talking about.

Gathering of Souls has changed the project name to "The Liquid Fix". I've posted the link to the official site of Gathering of Souls and The Liquid Fix, although the only thing on it right now is a deeply disturbing flash animation of aborted babies. I'm also including a link to The Edge's review page for the album. The links for listening to the songs are broken. I really wish there was some way you could all hear this album.

If you happen to come across it in your searches for music, pick it up. It may affect you as deeply as it has me.
