Today, new has reached us that Flaming Fish will close its online store and stop selling CDs, effective this february. Instead, Flaming Fish Music will start selling albums in digial form, most likely MP3. The store in its current form will be sold to Kelson Herr, owner of the young Greenhorn Records label, who will locate the store at http://antiphonic.com To make the transition run as smoothly as possible, Carson Pierce will be selling off as much of the current stock as possible. In order to sell as much as possible, people who purchase items in the store will recieve a 10% (ten percent) discount if they enter the coupon code "06FFM10" at the checkout of the store. This surprize move by Carson Pierce does not mean that Flaming Fish will be going out of business completely. As said, Flaming Fish will begin selling digital content instead of tangible CDs, also the label will remain active with releasing albums and promoting bands. The sole change will be how Flaming Fish will do (music) business and a new website.
